KOM Defender uses your Strava data (once authorised by you) as part of its weekly analysis. We examine the public rides you have uploaded to Strava and perform our analysis on that data. We do not retain, copy or store this Strava data once processing has been performed.
We store your email address, name and other basic user information so that we can send your analysis report each week. At any time, you can unsubscribe from this report via the link at the bottom of your report.
We may also use your email details to send you occasional newsletters or other information about the site.
We also store details about your feedback as to whether a given segment effort was valid or invalid. We use this information to stop valid entries from reappearing in your future reports as well as to improve our analysis algorithms.
Our website uses Google Analytics, a service which transmits website traffic data to Google servers in the United States. Google Analytics does not identify individual users or associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. We use reports provided by Google Analytics to help us understand website traffic and webpage usage.
If you have any concerns or further questions about our site and its use of your data, please contact us via email. We will be happy to amend our records or manually remove you from our records if you wish.
